A central objective of Minera San Crist\u00f3bal is to help create the conditions for the population living in the communities surrounding the mining project to develop self-sustaining businesses independent of mining production, seeking a better future for their inhabitants.<\/p>\n

The company’s social commitment is closely linked to its commitment to society, seeking the well-being of all residents of the region in which we operate by establishing sustainable development processes.<\/p>\n

MSC’s direct area of \u200b\u200binfluence includes the communities of San Crist\u00f3bal, Culpina K, Vila Vila, and R\u00edo Grande, all part of the San Crist\u00f3bal canton, the first section of the Colcha K municipality in the Nor L\u00edpez province of the department of Potos\u00ed.<\/p>\n

To achieve its sustainable development objectives, MSC has three areas of action:<\/p>\n

Community Relations
\n<\/strong>Direct and ongoing links with the communities in the project’s area of \u200b\u200binfluence, addressing their needs, coordinating activities, and consolidating channels of continuous and transparent communication.<\/p>\n

Resettlement and Mitigation
\n<\/strong>Promotion of environmental impact reduction projects and supervision of works carried out in communities to improve their quality of life.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Development
\n<\/strong>Coordination of proposals and projects for community development.<\/p>\n

We work with the “Los L\u00edpez San Crist\u00f3bal” Advisory Council, which is made up of community leaders from the adjacent areas: San Crist\u00f3bal, Culpina K, Vila Vila, and Rio Grande, who plan and decide the path of their development and future.<\/p>\n

With the goal of improving the communities’ quality of life, programs are implemented:<\/p>\n

  • They improve education and health services.<\/li>\n
  • They optimize agricultural and tourism activities.<\/li>\n
  • They promote micro and small businesses.<\/li>\n
  • They support cultural enhancement activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    MSC and the communities have a direct and ongoing relationship, characterized by ongoing and participatory dialogue, mutual respect and trust, shared responsibility, compliance with agreements and commitments, and the promotion of sustainable development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
