The private mining company is located in the province of Nor L\u00edpez in the Department of Potos\u00ed. The company produces and processes lead-silver and zinc-silver concentrates for exports to countries such as Canada, Australia, Japan and the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The executive director of the National Service for the Registry and Control of Mineral and Metal Commercialization (Senarecom, in Spanish), Lourdes Abastoflor, explained that the purpose of the inspection was to provide feedback on the procedures used by this institution. \u201cThis activity was aimed at strengthening the registry and control of the commercialization of minerals and metals in the country\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Senarecom\u2019s official data show that in 2015 San Crist\u00f3bal contributed BOB 256.51 million in royalties.
