Certifications

Thanks to Minera San Cristóbal’s vocation and commitment to achieve excellence, the company was granted important recognitions and became a reference of the new mining industry in Bolivia and the world. Prestigious company Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) renewed the company four certifications under international standards: ISO 9001 for management and verification of quality management processes, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety management.

Likewise, our Chemical Laboratory was certified under standard NB-ISO/IEC 17025 in view of its proven technical competence in chemical testing of the lots for exporting zinc – silver and lead – silver mineral concentrates.

In the aviation department, we have been granted and keep two certifications: the first one is the IS BAO certification for best practices in high standards and safety in aviation organizations, and the second one is the Certificate of Approved Organization of Maintenance (OMA No. 006) related to our capacity to carry out line and minor maintenance for our own aircraft within MSC.

Finally, Minera San Cristóbal has been certified by the National Customs Agency as an Authorized Economic Operator Importer and Exporter for its security in the logistics.
