Certifications

Minera San Cristóbal’s dedication and commitment to excellence have led the company to obtain important recognitions, making it a benchmark for new mining in Bolivia and around the world. The renowned firm Icontec completed the transfer process and issued the company four certifications under international standards: ISO 9001 for quality management of its processes, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 27001 for information security, and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety management.

Similarly, the Chemical Laboratory is accredited according to the NB-ISO/IEC 17025 standard, demonstrating technical competence in conducting chemical tests for export batches of zinc-silver and lead-silver concentrates.

In the aviation sector, two certifications were obtained and maintained: the first is the IS BAO (Stage 2) for best practices in air operations with the highest quality and safety standards; and the second is the Approved Maintenance Organization Certificate (OMA No. 006) for the ability to perform minor and line maintenance on our aircraft at MSC.

Finally, Minera San Cristóbal has been certified by the National Customs as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) in the Importer and Exporter categories, in recognition of the security and reliability of its logistics chain. The company also obtained the Top Employer certification, which recognizes its innovation, good operating practices, and commitment to the well-being of its employees.
