MINERA SAN CRISTÓBAL S.A. IS RATIFIED AS A HEALTHY COMPANY IN 2025
Through Surveillance Audit 2, the Bolivian Institute for Standardization and Quality (IBNORCA) once again certified the comprehensive health care programs of Minera San Cristóbal S.A. (MSC).
La Paz, October 21, 2025.- Minera San Cristóbal S.A. (MSC), in line with its commitment to the culture of quality in our country, and in accordance with the favorable results of IBNORCA Certification Audit No. 23351/123, on October 21, 2025, ratified its certification for the Healthy Company Management System (SIGES), in accordance with Standard NB 512001:2008.
MSC obtained its first SIGES certificate during the 2014–2017 period, and thanks to its spirit of continuous improvement and the implementation of good practices aimed at the well-being, safety, and health protection of its personnel, it has maintained this certification over the years, becoming the only mining company in Bolivia certified as a Healthy Company.
To ratify its certification, Minera San Cristóbal S.A. (MSC) successfully completed a rigorous and demanding audit process, in which its high compliance standards demonstrate the company’s genuine commitment to its human resources.
The accreditation received by the company covers its health care, prevention, and health promotion activities aimed at workers and their families, as it has a strong and integrated health system that provides support in this area to the communities of San Cristóbal, Culpina K, and Vila Vila. It complies with guidelines and regulations that make it possible to increase the demand for care among the population living in these communities, while maintaining the capacity of its health services and its strong ability to resolve problems through its health centers and designated providers.
Therefore, having successfully completed the Healthy Company Management System (SIGES) Certification Process under NB 512001:2008 encourages Minera San Cristóbal S.A. to continue implementing improvement actions in the areas of health and workplace environments, for the benefit of its human resources and their families, permanently offering immediate and timely care for the health of all of them.
With this certification, Bolivia’s largest mining company reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the country’s development through efficient work, while maintaining high standards in health matters in order to continue being a world-class company by serving as a model Healthy Company.
